About Protect Students and Taxpayers
This site is co-created by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, the Institute for College Access & Success and its Project on Student Debt, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, Public Advocates, Inc., U.S. PIRG, and the United States Student Association.
We welcome organizations to use the site to help spread the word about the importance of strong and effective student aid regulations. Our current partners represent students, institutions of higher education, and consumer and civil rights advocates. These partner organizations support meaningful regulations that protect students and taxpayers from career programs that over-charge and under-deliver and encourage others to share their views.
